WALL PRO PRO-601 waterproof system – primer
WALL PRO PRO-601 waterproof system primer is a transparent acrylate-based primer. Due to the unique composition this primer adheres to a variety of substrates, including paper wallpaper, non-woven wallpaper and vinyl wallpaper on a fleece or paper backing (no plastic backing).
All wallpapers from ESTAhome, Origin – luxury wallcoverings and Sanders & Sanders are certified for effective use with WALL PRO waterproof system.
For wallpapers with ecotexture, surface print, chalk paint or other embossed wallpapers, pretreatment with WALL PRO PRO-601 is required. This is because the primer ensures a smooth surface and a good adhesion process. When using the primer, keep in mind that the colors of the wallpaper may become more intense/darker.

Steps
Step 1 Check substrate
Wait at least 48 hours after wallpapering before applying primer. Also check that the wallpaper is properly bonded to the substrate. For good adhesion, it is important that the wallpaper strips fit together seamlessly.
Step 2: Applying
Stir the primer thoroughly. Do not mix old residue with new material and dilute the primer only with clean tap water.
Apply the primer with a short-haired, non-fluffy coat roller, brush or spray equipment. If using rollers, it is important to wax them well. Use a small brush for edges. Apply the primer in an even layer. When applying by roller or brush, it would be wise to go over the recently painted surface once more while it is still wet.
Wait 2 hours before applying WALL PRO waterproof system matt/gloss – finish.
Safety
EUH204 (EU-GHS). Keep out of the reach of children. This product contains no or very few solvents and is therefore suitable for professional use within ARBO guidelines. The primer contains approximately 45 g/l VOCs in ready-to-use form. For more information consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) as well as the information on the product packaging.
Shelf life and storage
Store in a dry, cool, and frost-free place. The product is unusable if it has been frozen. If unopened the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the production date. The production date is indicated on the packaging. Limited shelf life after opening.
